Logpresso Raises KRW 16 Billion Series B to Pioneer AI-Driven Cloud Security Operations

CEO Bongyeol Yang

Logpresso, a leading cloud-native Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) specialist, has closed a KRW 16 billion (approximately USD 12 million) Series B funding round, signaling a decisive move toward AI-powered security operations. The investment, supported by both existing backer KB Investment and new institutional participants, aims to accelerate the company’s transition to a next-generation AI-based security agent model.

CEO Bongyeol Yang emphasized the company’s vision to consolidate its proven products into a unified Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform. “This funding enables us to fully embrace an AI agent–centric security model, integrating intelligence across every stage of threat detection and incident response,” Yang said. The initiative seeks to maximize both detection performance and operational efficiency for enterprises navigating increasingly complex cyber threats.

Dong-Eon Goo, Chief Business Officer, highlighted global expansion as a key strategic focus. “Building on our strong domestic foundation, Logpresso is preparing for rapid entry into the Japanese market, leveraging strategic partnerships and a globally optimized SaaS offering,” he said. With the global SIEM market evolving toward cloud-based, AI-enabled solutions, Logpresso’s Series B proceeds will also fund targeted M&A and alliances to expand its XDR capabilities and strengthen its competitive positioning.

Founded in 2013, Logpresso has earned recognition for delivering advanced SecOps technology across cybersecurity, IT operations, and fraud detection. Its 2023 launch of the SaaS platform Logpresso Cloud reinforced the company’s leadership in the domain, with a growing international customer base that validates the effectiveness of its cloud-native solutions.

Editorial Insight: The trajectory of Logpresso reflects a broader trend in cybersecurity toward fully autonomous, AI-driven threat management. By integrating AI agents across the SecOps lifecycle, the company addresses a critical market need: faster, more accurate threat detection without scaling human resources linearly. The company’s strategy to consolidate its XDR capabilities positions it as a strong contender for enterprises seeking cloud-optimized, intelligent security solutions. Furthermore, its targeted expansion into Japan and global markets indicates thoughtful international growth, suggesting that Logpresso is aligning technical innovation with business scalability.

With KRW 23 billion (approx. USD 17 million) raised to date—including previous Seed and Series A rounds—Logpresso is well-capitalized to execute its vision of transforming cybersecurity operations through AI and automation. The focus on AI integration, strategic partnerships, and M&A demonstrates a company not only expanding its technological footprint but also shaping the future of cloud-native security.
