Dr. Arti Masturzo Named President of Healogics Specialty Physicians, Signaling Strategic Advancement in Wound Care Innovation

In a move that underscores its commitment to clinical innovation and value-based care, Healogics, LLC, the nation’s leading provider of advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, has appointed Dr. Arti Masturzo as President of Healogics Specialty Physicians (HSP). The announcement marks a return to the company for Dr. Masturzo, who brings a career spanning over two decades at the intersection of clinical leadership, enterprise transformation, and healthcare strategy.

Dr. Masturzo previously founded Wound Specialists of Greater Cincinnati—later acquired by Healogics—and went on to serve as Executive Vice President of Clinical Innovation at the organization. Her experience extends to senior leadership roles at Solsys Medical, Humana, and CCS, where she led system-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes through scalable innovation and strategic care delivery.

As President of HSP, Dr. Masturzo will be responsible for accelerating the group’s clinical performance, enhancing physician engagement, and integrating advanced technologies into care models that are both effective and sustainable.

“Arti’s unique breadth of industry experience and visionary leadership make her exceptionally positioned to guide Healogics Specialty Physicians through our next era of growth and innovation,” said Pamela Mandel, Chairman and CEO of Healogics. “Her ability to combine enterprise priorities with clinical perspectives will enhance our competitive advantage and expand our impact across the healthcare landscape.”

“I am honored to return to Healogics in this new role,” said Dr. Masturzo. “My experience across all sectors and sites of healthcare has shown me the challenges and opportunities we face in advancing patient outcomes. I look forward to forging new pathways for innovation, engagement, and measurable clinical impact for the patients and communities we serve.”

Dr. Masturzo is board-certified in internal medicine and holds an Executive MBA from Strayer University. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida and is widely recognized for her leadership in applying data-driven approaches to complex chronic conditions.

Strategic Outlook

The appointment of Dr. Masturzo is not just a personnel change — it reflects Healogics’ deepening investment in long-term clinical transformation and patient-centric models. As healthcare systems increasingly pivot toward integrated care and measurable outcomes, Healogics is positioning itself as a leader not only in wound care but in the broader conversation about the future of chronic disease management.

With a vast national network of over 600 Wound Care Centers and partnerships across skilled nursing and acute care facilities, Healogics has access to one of the largest chronic wound datasets in the country. The strategic leadership of executives like Dr. Masturzo is expected to convert this data into innovation that redefines patient outcomes, physician workflows, and systemic efficiencies.

Under the leadership of Pamela Mandel, CEO and Chairwoman of Healogics, the company continues to strengthen its clinical infrastructure while embracing digital and operational evolution. The decision to appoint a physician-executive with enterprise experience demonstrates a forward-thinking approach to navigating the healthcare industry’s most pressing challenges.
