Nevis Secures $40M to Redefine Wealth Management with AI-Driven Automation

Mark Swan (CEO), Philipp Burda (Chief Product Officer), and Ivan Chalov (COO)

Nevis, the AI-driven platform for wealth management, has raised $35 million in a Series A round led by Sequoia Capital, joined by ICONIQ and Ribbit Capital, bringing its total funding to $40 million less than a year after its founding. The funding positions the company to accelerate adoption of its AI tools that streamline operational workflows for financial advisors.

Founded by Mark Swan (CEO), Philipp Burda (Chief Product Officer), and Ivan Chalov (COO)—all former executives at RevolutNevis aims to address the bottleneck in wealth management where advisors spend up to 80% of their time on administrative tasks rather than client service. The platform currently supports Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) managing over $50 billion in client assets across the US.

Nevis is the world’s first AI platform for wealth management,” said Mark Swan, CEO. “By automating operational tasks end-to-end, advisors can dedicate more time to clients and growing their business. From preparing for meetings to opening custodian accounts, our AI handles it all.”

Customers include national RIAs such as United Capital and Apollon Wealth Management, as well as ultra-high-net-worth firms like GC Wealth. Jim Rivers, President of United Capital, highlighted, “Nevis will transform our technology stack, integrating systems to allow efficiency and more client-facing time.” Dave Breslin, EVP of GC Wealth, added, “Nevis felt different — a cohesive, intelligent platform built for the next decade of wealth management.”

Sequoia’s Luciana Lixandru noted, “Wealth managers face a defining opportunity. When AI handles operational load, advisors can focus on clients. Mark, Philipp, and Ivan’s experience at Revolut gives them the DNA to build a generational company.” ICONIQ’s Seth Pierrepont said, “Nevis is unlocking the true potential for wealth management firms by unifying data and automating operations, enabling unprecedented efficiency and scalability.”

Editorial Insight:

The wealth management industry is at a tipping point where AI-driven automation could fundamentally change operational capacity. Nevis, leveraging the fintech expertise of its founders from Revolut, is well-positioned to redefine how advisors serve clients. With rapid customer adoption and significant backing from top-tier investors, the company exemplifies a scalable model in a fragmented, high-value market.

Furthermore, the platform’s ability to handle complex workflows end-to-end positions it not just as a productivity tool, but as a potential standard for the next generation of wealth management operations. As advisors increasingly demand speed, personalization, and regulatory compliance, Nevis is building the infrastructure to deliver all three while maintaining operational rigor.
