The initiative aims to accelerate the transition of California corporations from combustion to electric fleets by covering 70% of the total charging infrastructure costs. Managed directly by Revolv, the grant application on behalf of two corporate clients based in Orange County and Los Angeles County has resulted in a total award of $445,000. Quentin Cole, Director of Infrastructure, Development & Operations at Revolv, expressed gratitude to CALSTART for spearheading a crucial program that supports California’s fleet decarbonization efforts. “We’re pleased to witness two additional fleet electrification projects come to fruition through California’s incentivization programs,” Cole remarked. “This achievement underscores our commitment to delivering value to our customers.”
The EnergIIZE program, supported by the California Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program, offers reimbursement grants aimed at deploying zero-emission vehicle charging infrastructure. The Electric Vehicle Jump Start Funding Lane specifically covers up to 75% of eligible costs related to chargers, management software, and electrical infrastructure, benefiting fleet users with operations in disadvantaged communities.
