Mobile gaming startup Grand Games has announced a successful $3 million pre-seed funding round led by Earlybird Digital East Fund, with notable participation from Laton Ventures. This substantial investment comes just four months after the company’s founding and marks a significant milestone in its mission to transform the mobile gaming landscape.
Founded by Bekir Batuhan, alongside co-founder and CEO, Grand Games employs cutting-edge AI technology to streamline game development processes. By leveraging AI to handle up to 30% of game coding and utilizing platforms like Midjourney for art generation, Grand Games dramatically reduces production times, enhancing their ability to build, test, and iterate on games more rapidly than competitors.
“Our approach aims to address the fragmentation in mobile game development by adopting advanced AI technologies,” said Bekir Batuhan, CEO and co-founder of Grand Games. “While many current mobile games are mere imitations of successful titles, our innovative use of AI enables us to create unique, high-quality experiences swiftly. We believe this will set us apart in a competitive industry and pave the way for significant growth.”
Grand Games has already launched its first game, Magic Sort!, which is currently in a soft launch phase in the U.S. and available on both iOS and Android platforms. The company’s second title, Car Match, is slated for a soft launch in early July, with a flagship title focusing on social interaction expected in early 2025.
