S&P Global Ratings has named Yann Le Pallec, the current Executive Managing Director and Head of Global Ratings Services, as its next President. Effective November 1, 2024, Mr. Le Pallec will assume responsibility for overseeing all facets of the business, encompassing commercial operations, analytical rigor, and operational excellence. He will succeed Martina L. Cheung, who will transition to the role of President and CEO of S&P Global.
Yann Le Pallec brings extensive experience to his new role, having joined S&P Global in 1999 and held a series of progressively influential positions. His career highlights include leadership roles in credit markets, change management, and talent development. Currently, he oversees a global team of over 2,200 analysts spanning 28 countries, managing a portfolio of more than one million ratings across governments, corporations, and financial institutions.
