Axcelis Technologies Appoints David Ryzhik as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy

Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS) has announced the appointment of David Ryzhik as its new Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy, effective July 2024. Mr. Ryzhik brings over two decades of extensive experience in investor relations and financial management across various sectors.

Most recently serving as Vice President of Investor Relations at MKS Instruments, David Ryzhik has also held significant roles as a Senior Equity Research Analyst covering Industrial Technology and Distributed Ledger Technology sectors at Susquehanna International Group (SIG). His career includes financial roles in public administration with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Management & Budget and the NYC Fire Department. David holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. He currently serves as a Board Member of the National Investor Relations Institute’s (NIRI) Boston Chapter.

Axcelis also announced the planned retirement of Doug Lawson, Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Strategy, effective July 2024. Mr. Lawson, who has been instrumental in shaping Axcelis’ strategic direction over a distinguished 15-year tenure, will continue as a Senior Advisor through July 2025.
