JanOne Inc. (Nasdaq: JAN), a distinguished player in healthcare and fintech sectors, has named Mr. Vay Tham as its Chief Revenue Officer and President of ALT5 Sigma, Inc., effective July 1, 2024. Mr. Tham brings over 25 years of extensive experience in capital markets, particularly in technology sectors, to his new roles.
Throughout his career, Mr. Tham has held pivotal positions including Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking at PI Financial Corp. (Ventum Financial). His expertise spans research, investment banking, and finance, having successfully managed a fund with over $300 million in assets. A graduate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Mr. Tham is recognized for his strategic leadership and innovation within the financial technology landscape.
At JanOne, Mr. Tham will spearhead ALT5 Sigma’s market expansion initiatives, leveraging its cutting-edge digital financial ecosystem. This includes platforms such as ALT5 Pay and ALT5 Prime, which facilitate cryptocurrency transactions and electronic over-the-counter trading respectively.
