Qblox Secures $26M Series A Funding to Propel Quantum Control Stack Development

Qblox, a pioneering quantum technology firm renowned for its advanced quantum control stacks, has announced the successful closure of a $26 million Series A funding round. The investment, led by Quantonation and Invest-NL Deep Tech Fund, with participation from QDNL and the European Innovation Council (EIC), marks a significant milestone in Qblox’s journey towards advancing quantum innovation.

Founded with a vision to streamline and enhance the control of quantum computing systems, Qblox has rapidly emerged as a key player in the quantum technology sector. The company’s flagship product, the Qblox Cluster, integrates cutting-edge technologies essential for precise qubit control and readout across diverse qubit platforms.

Niels Bultink, co-founder and CEO of Qblox, expressed enthusiasm about the funding, emphasizing its strategic importance in driving the company’s long-term growth and solidifying its position as an enabler of industrial-scale quantum systems. “This Series A funding underscores our commitment to innovation and scalability,” said Bultink. “It will fuel our efforts in expanding research and development, accelerating product development, and meeting the escalating market demand.”

In recent years, Qblox has showcased its prowess through collaborations and groundbreaking demonstrations, including the development of a fully functional quantum computer within 48 hours at the APS March Meeting 2024.
